Demo - Butane Torch Troubleshooting

Показать описание

Metal clay firing torches (all of our large flame torches) are perfect for torch firing fine silver and copper clay pieces up to 25 grams. Smaller torches, like the Spitfire, Stingray and Hot Shot models are perfect for small soldering tasks. Use these torches to ball wire, make head pins, solder jump rings closed, and more.

Please note that while we highly recommend Blazer Triple Refine Butane, which is designed for butane torches, we do not offer this product on our website. Butane is a highly flammable material and carries a hazardous surcharge for shipping. Source your butane locally, but be sure to demand triple refined for best performance and longest torch life.

Thank you. This was way more informative than the other "How to fill a butane torch" videos I watched, which had me in tears. I think the nipple size is wrong, so now I have someplace to start.

Great demo! Much better than the instructions that come with the torch! I received my new Spitfire this afternoon and tried over and over to get it to ignite. I was ready to return it to Amazon, then decided to do a little googling and found this video. Thanks!

So helpful. I got some zippo fuel and was wondering why refueling it was so difficult.

I just found one you may want to add! I have the newport 6 inch torch its only a month old and i could hear the gas comming out and see a spark but still no light! As im looking down the head i realized the little filiment tht creates the spark seemed up against the side like something hit it! I slightly bent it back to the middle n she seems just fine! It was driving me nuts troubleshooting this thing!! Lol

Just had mine act up. The flame was not torching and just coming out like if i held the button back, but i wasnt. I think it was doing it because the torch got too cold. I left it by my Ac unit. I just kept lighting it and eventually the torch kicked back in.

I have a blazer big shot gt800 and the flame is very small and week when i light it then goes out shortly after. I had the cheep " premium" butane in it when this issue started. Could switching to the Blazer triple refined butane fix my problem or do i need to unclog if first?

Thank you for the info.. I have a Blazer Stingray that I've had for about 7 months and its getting extremely hot to hold and I can hear a small leak coming from the insert on the bottom. Is this fixable or is it time to get a new torch?

I was told at the store I bought my torch from that "Universal Butane" was the right stuff... Now I see why refilling mine didn't work. And I don't think it would now be a good idea to put the triple refined stuff in on top of the other kind. What a waste of pretty new toy. :(
