SMITE Heimdallr NERFED Already! Massive Ult Nerfs, 4 Nerfs In Total!

SMITE's next god Heimdallr had a large number of nerfs to his kit announced recently, affecting every ability except his 2. Especially his ult damage and basic attack cleave see drastic reductions, along with some further scaling nerfs.

i can def see him being a niche jungler, his ganks/invaded are actually pretty good. Use sword for vision, blink knockup, ult, drop down sword when they land. a shit ton of burst damage right there and setup for the laner to nuke them

Enemy team goes into your jungle on duo: throws sword for vision and slam for steal

Nice vacant spot in XP camp near mid?: place crystal for rotate and push

Enemy getting too aggressive: horn to knock them off your carry

Enemy getting too not dead: horn to chase and slow

Enemy chasing your carry or you need to separate a pivotal god in a fight ?: ult and put him in timeout

I’m happy with the ult nerf felt like a ridiculously over tuned version of Arthur’s ult without the draw back of knocking the enemy away from you after using it

Heimdallr's ult still needs major nerfs. For the way his ult works it has the highest scaling in the game period. While there are 7 other gods that have an ult scaling of above 200% every one of them is a burst mage that needs abilities to do damage. Furthermore part, if not all, of their ult damage can be avoided after it is cast. Anubis, you can aegis most of the damage, jump away, or juke. Same goes for agni, or hades, or rainin, or ah puch, or sol, or zues. Once you've been yeeted by heim you're in for an ass fucking you cant avoid. And unlike ao kuang or ne zha there is no slight pause that allows you to bead the cc before you die. Cuz that's what happens. His ult does 60-75% health on squishies at every stage of the game, early, mid, and late. No other god has that. If that wasn't enough, fall behind 1 level at level 2? Prepare for a heim with the same items as you to do 80 auto damage at level 3 when you're doing 45 at level 2 as an adc as well. By the way, the autos are cleaves so the heim can literally have no thumbs and still out trade you. I feel like hi rez was like we havent put out someone OP in a while, so let's just scale up the ridiculousness on Heim to make up for all the fairness weve been recently releasing.
