She has no clue how good she is, that’s priceless. So many good female surfers coming up now but it’s pretty obvious when she starts turning there’s a significant jump in speed, style and just pure rail over her competitors.

I grew up a skater in NorCal in the mid 90s, and Caity’s vision really resonates with my younger self. All I did was skate, and I had a huge desire to make video parts placed to music that inspired the skating itself. That was the highest form of art for me then…and even now in some regard. I try to post skate session on YT when there’s no surf. The sessions are driven by a nostalgia for my love of skate, snow, and surf videos, that have been running in the back of my head as a sorta soundtrack for the best memories of my life. I had hundreds and hundreds of skate videos, and dozens of surf and snowboard vids. To this day if a song from one of them pops up, I still see those videos parts in my head, as clear as day, 25 years, plus, later. So I get Caity’s vision and inspiration, totally. Her videos are pretty cool too, and I’m happy she’s gotten the chance to create them. Maybe they’ll be the soundtracks for the best memories, years and years later, for the groms and surfers alike, watching them now. Bravo. 🤙🤙🤙👏👏✌️

Caity, don’t be bummed that local uncles ask you questions or opine, they’re likely super proud of you and you’re literally the pride of the local surf spot. Wear it like a badge of honor, cause that’s what it is.
