first Sony and the guy at the store was very smug telling me there was no instruction manual but that it's completely intuitive. Now I come from Nikon land where I've read the manual, watched tutorials, graduated from dslr to Full frame over a period of years. I know my Nikon inside out and still more to learn I'm sure. This Sony was NOT at all intuitive but I took it on a trip knowing I'd have time later to learn it. Thank you for this video. you talk to us like we are intelligent but new. SO simple but hard for a sales guy who is not a natural teacher.

This video is 4 years old, and I just bought one! I don’t have it yet, but I’m excited. I had a Nikon full frame DSLR, with several lens, and it was way too much for me. I really wanted something smaller, lighter, and “simpler.” I have mostly had Nikons, although I had one of the early Sony mirrorless cameras. I never really got comfortable with it, because menu settings were so much different. However, I know this will be fine. I got the kit lens, and that’s really all I need. I thought I’d be fine just using my cellphone camera, but I really miss having an actual camera. Thanks for the helpful setup video.

Thanks for this video. My a6400 is on the way. While I have the a5000, I really consider this to be my "first" Sony since it has features that I really want. 4K recording, in particular. Thanks also for the a6400 playlist of videos. I will be watching all of them while my a6400 makes it way home.
