For the specters, maybe they were searching for a relaxing place to pass on - and since they chose Waddlesquash, it is a boon to the "city" as it increases the magic in the area.

What I love about this series is how every event that would be a low stake thing in Scorchfountain for eg, is really impactful here. Finding a tree with badgers, scaring away a cat thief -- I was on edge for that!

A perfect example of how story telling, simple graphical depiction, and suspense of disbelief can transport everyone to a made up realm. Simple pumpkin folk going about their business, slowly building a community, and dealing with odd ball things life throws at them

Perhaps you should make an armor stand or statue of that spectral warrior and bard. To honor their memory as well as make a nice attraction at the tavern. So long as no trouble makers try their hand at thieft.

Wow, I really love how you portray this world as a some victorian-esque fairytale book images! After all those semi-realistic pictures full of gore and violence it feels like a real gasp of a fresh air. I hope you will continue such experiments with a different settings and styles.

I'm loving this calm little fall series. Just a fun fact: all the way up through the 50s, wooden training projectiles were used for teaching soldiers and sportsmen on gun ranges in Europe. I think chef Jarrets needs a little garden behind her house or her lover's house. Surely the cook would want to grow her own little herb bed!

I'm new to dwarf fortress, i finally got my dwarves started. I've dug out a place in a clift and have built some things... yeah I have not even began to scratch the surface.... yet I feel so accomplished haha
