I volunteer for a cat rescue. In all the years I have volunteered there there's only one cat I've ever seen who'd take a pill no problem. Arnold, big brown tabby sweetheart. Put it in a pill pocket and he snarfs it right down. He'll even watch you put the pill in the pill pocket and will still readily eat his "treat"! If only all cats were as good as Arnold about taking pills.

I was very stressed and struggled attempting to give my cat his pill medicine. I watched this video and the doctor’s method worked perfectly! No more stress and of course kitty and I can continue quickly to play and treats! No more tears for either of us! Thank you so much Dr. Pol! His calmness helped me to be calm! Before this video I was trying to put the pill in treats and all the other ways. No luck until this technique!!!! ❤❤❤

My cat has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy—heart disease. She’s been on atenolol, lasix and benazepril twice a day for the last eight years. I crush up the meds and put them in her food in pieces of a chewy pill pocket. So far, so good. 🐈

That method Dr.Pol shows to give cats pills works actually pretty good.. except I have 2 cats that didn't like having someone blow in their face & needles cat swatted at the person left nice scratch across the face.. however the cat did swallow the pill .. Really works great just beware of being swatted .

It helps that Tater is a mellow cat and barely resisted. Now my Lulu is a different story so I use a pill popper and don't have any issues.

My moms trick was to get cat and drop them into a pillow case held my older sister up to neck then put butter all around pill and insert to cats mouth and hold closed till pill gone

Love Tater! Thanks. I wrap our goldendoodle's pills in swiss cheese and I hold up a 2nd small piece, the chaser piece of cheese so she swallows her first piece without questioning what's in it. Works like a charm! (She can't stand peanut butter, but I love it.)
