9:07 that’s a great description. Sometimes there’s a story or movie that has a very good atmosphere, and it’s a puzzle to figure out Why it gives those feelings.
I think people love Poe (even Sherlock Holmes as well) because of that, it really does transport you to that pre-electrical age.
