Mina with the prepared statement of apology on the notepad. I respect it and love it so much that I can't even enjoy dunking on Mina with I told you so. But I will never understand how you and other analysts didn't see this coming. It's one thing to not think he's 2019/2020 Prime RUss, but to pretend that the 2023 version of RUss as a passer wasn't clearly better than Fields will always be ridiculous to me. Not only from an accuracy standpoint but overall command of an offense and ability to audible at LOS and read a defense vastly better than Fields. With all that said, I fully acknowledge he has to get it done vs division rivals, Commanders, Eagles, and Chiefs down the stretch to prove he's as good as I and a few others always said he still is. Just so glad we actually get to see it play out. For a while the Russ skeptics seemed liked they were going to win by default because of health.

The Richardson benching is interesting, because I thought they only started him to give him more experience while evalutating his potential, etc. But they were 4 - 3 going into the last game and could have had a better chance with Flacco in there. A game late to move on to Flacco IMO.

Not sure why anyone doubted Russ anyway, other than the year with Hackett (who has been fired and demoted) he’s never had a passer rating in a season under 90. Russ is a hall of fame QB. Put respect on his name.

As a colts fan. I dont think we are gonna win the super bowl or anything but they should be a playoff team. Could of key drops/bad throw in both games against the texans from being 6-2

Mina admitting she was wrong is admirable. The media has tried to write off Russ for years now, even tho he played pretty good last year and was a top 10 QB statistically. Put some respect on Mike Tomlin name for recognizing Russ was a better QB and that was the right decision.

penalties in the redzone slowed em down, when they called pass plays.. just run the ball down there, esp early when having that kind of success running it.. that's why they had fgs.

That’s the whole point about how the Steelers are playing right now. If you try to drop another safety into coverage to take away the deep ball Najee Harris will run for 6 or 7 yards a carry on ya. Then when you bring another guy into the box Wilson goes deep over your head lol. That’s the hard part about playing the Steelers right now.

Also talking about the teams they played is coping because before the game everyone said the Jets were good and picked them to beat Pittsburgh. It wasn’t until the Steelers dominated them that the narrative changed…
Also in the first half the Steelers played mostly teams with good defenses and bad offenses. Then in the second half we play mostly teams with good offenses but bad defenses.

with the AR situation people are making it seem like the colts cut him or sent him to cancun he can sit and learn and he has to look in the mirror when he came out of college and didn't play much in college he has to want to get better and has to work hard to get to where he needs to be when both the organization and the player aren't trying to get them there

As a Colts fan I appreciate Domonique's take. I was a big believer in being patient with AR but there were next to no signs that he was improving week after week and his numbers have been all time bad. Flacco will give the team more juice somehow. It's just sad to see.
