It’s nice to see that the parents of the kid in the second story sided with the teacher and tried to get her job back

My hs P.E. teacher suddenly disappeared and rumors spread that he had punched a kid. Turns out the kid tried to jump him after class with a baseball bat and he fought back in self defense. He ended up coming back a year or so later and was fine for the most part but super weary of the male students from then on. He was a cool teacher too.

My elementary school librarian slapped a kid, she had anger issues and everyone was ordered not to speak about it. She was sued and jailed for assault on a minor

I heard from classmates that the reason our old teacher changed schools was because the new class she got (of around 11-12-year-old kids) had girls selling themselves after school, 2 pregnancies, and a whole lot of drug issues (appearently some boys from the class lit a trashcan on school on fire). Didn't believe that bc our school was (at least in my eyes) one of the best schools in the area with the most well behaved students and these kids were only 3 years younger then me.
We had our class reunion a few weeks ago and our old teacher spilled everything to us. I was really sad, she was the best teacher I had ever had (more of a friend then a teacher really) and she had to go from our class (which in her words was her favorite class) to that class full of struggling children who didn't want to change and who's parents weren't even listening.
The kids from that class aren't even adults yet so I hope they can get the help they need and still change for better.

Kudos to the parents for standing up for someone who would discipline their own child

One of my high school teachers picked a kid up and slammed him against the lockers. He got applauded for it, because the kid was beating the shit out of the janitor.

There was this teacher that I loved having his class in 6th grade. Well this one kid in the class before mine was being dumb and my teacher grabbed a desk and threw it at the wall. He completely broke that desk and determined it was better to break a desk than an 11 year old. When I walked into the classroom my whole class saw the aftermath and got a calm explanation from my teacher. We where so shocked because he almost never raised his voice and most people respected him. I found out later who the kid was and it was completely understandable. This kid had to leave my middle school halfway through 7th grade for behavioral issues and the next time I saw him was when he got arrested in high school and he tripped over me as I was frozen in place. He had anger issues and some others. I knew him through the special Ed department and was so glad I never had a reason to interact with him. I hope his doing well but I don’t think he is. The man is to violent for his own good.

Back in the day, like 60s/70s, kids were still being hit in school. My uncle kept falling asleep in class so the teacher hit him with a book (like snape) in the head. It turned out my uncle had a brain tumor or something which is why he was falling asleep (he's okay now). Anywho, as soon as my Nan found out she stormed into the school and sucker punched this teacher so hard in the face. She said if the teacher laid another finger on him she'd kill them

When I was a kid I had a french teacher who had a drawer full of throwable objects, he was fucking accurate too! Hit a kid between the eyes on the far side of the classroom with a tennis ball.

He didn't want to hurt kids so unlike some he didn't throw chalkboard erasers, he threw softer things that stung for a second but didn't leave a mark.

I was physically assaulted by my math teacher in 7th grade and was pulled out of the class as a result while he was looked into. It all happened because I lost my math book at my aunt's house (200 miles away, because the asshole assigned homework over the Christmas holiday and we spent the entire time at my aunt's) and asked repeatedly for a new one to keep up until we could go back and get it. He kept telling me he'd bring a spare in for me then forgetting, so by like, February, I had stopped even trying and would just quietly read in class, kept to myself, and did the homework on the bus ride home or went over to my best friend's house to do the homework.

He finally noticed, in like MARCH, that I didn't have my book and wasn't paying attention. He asked if I was 'f**king r*t*rded' and asked why I wasn't following along in my book. I reminded him how I'd asked to borrow a new one, and he yelled at me that I'd never asked, to a chorus of other kids (who didn't even LIKE me because I was a socially awkward nerd) that I had asked like 5 times.

He ripped me out of my seat by my shirt, *threw* me into the hallway, then slammed me into a wall with my feet off the floor and his hands on my arms, leaving bruises and screaming in my face about how I was a disrespectful little piece of shit (I literally never spoke in class except to answer questions and was a yes sir, no sir, sort of kid) shook me to slam my head into the locker a few times, then asked if I 'wanted to go to the principal'. I said 'yes, I wanna show him the bruises you're giving me' and got physically thrown down the hallway for mouthing back, which twisted my ankle when I landed.

I hobbled to the principal's office, showed how he'd stretched my shirt out and physically assaulted me, was told I would be suspended for a week but when I got home my mother took pictures of the bruises that were forming, my ruined t-shirt, my swollen ankle, and the knot on the back of my head where he'd repeatedly knocked my head into the lockers, and I had 30 witnesses to what he'd done, including another teacher who'd come out to see what the screaming was about.

I also had a doctor's note and a police report because when a 13 year old kid shows up at the hospital covered in bruises, children's services gets involved.

He no longer had a job, because I wasn't the first kid he'd done that to.

Despite failing math that year they let me continue on into 8th grade math, because my mother could have OWNED that school with the evidence she had.

I ended up with some serious PTSD after that shit revolving around math, and it took 3 years and a really kind, supportive teacher to help me get over it and help me pass my placement tests for the next grade. (You couldn't move on to 11th grade without passing this test, and I was about to be held back and she did a lot of extra work to help me.)

Anyway, rest in piss Mr. Lloyd.

Hard truth is, kids are still learning to be humans that can be accepted in society. If they said the shit they do in the real world they'd have their teeth knocked out. A teachers greatest gift is patience.

Bro teachers SHOULD be allowed to whoop students who misbehave. Why should one kid get to fuck up every lesson for other kids that actually want a future? At the very least it would stop bullying because then there's always someone bigger than the bullying.

They really didn't have to settle that was still assault of a minor. Didn't matter if he was being annoying

We had one teacher in one of my elementary schools that just despised kids. She would throw shit at kids, and the school never believed anyone even though every single kid, including the teacher's pet types would report her for the shit she did. One day, the school couldn't deny it anymore, when she not only knocked over a kid leaning in his chair, but also shoved one of those metal hybrid desk chairs into his side after he cracked open his skull on the concrete floor from her knocking him over. The classes were mixes of the hybrid desks and the 2 piece desk chair combos. She tried to threaten us to not say a word, but it was me and a few other students that made her realize how bad she fucked up. I was the "You must be fun at parties" kid, and knew a handful of shit more then other students when I was young. I said "fuck you, you'll be lucky not to end up in a goddamn prison cell", another kid said "He is bleeding, and you nearly killed him, anything further will just make this worse for you." Not to mention other kids having their flip phones pulled out and recording everything. And so she just froze. She was not seen for the rest of the day after the kid was rushed to the office with kids screaming call an ambulance and call the police, a teacher went nuts. She wasn't seen the next day, nor the day after... Nor in the yearbook at the end of the year. She likely ended up in prison. The kid was okay after a few stitches and treatment, he almost got a concussion, but returned to school after a month and a half or so.

I had an old German teacher in elementary school I’m from the U.S and whenever everyone kept talking he would throw a chair or a calculator or something at the wall and start cursing in German
