On this video I am comparing the old season (F21) North Face 1996 Retro Nuptse Jacket with the new season (F22).

Thanks for the side by side. If you didn't show the side by side, there's no way to tell that new is just a bit longer. Northface was probably listening to customer feedback and made the size updates . Good for them for doing that. The slightly longer length doesn't change the boxy profile IMO. The new looks just as giod as the old.

Who remembers "tent & trails" in manhattan NY?? I use to buy these jackets back in 1994..this one and the dryloft gore 700(shorter Himalayan style) jacket..

I don’t know I feel as if the length of the torso is the same, I purchased a 2022 fall season Nupste jacket in lapis blue I returned it and to me the length in the torso felt the same short cropped style as my black 2021 fall Nupste If I get a chance I’ll be sure to buy a newer one in medium to see if I missed it before, maybe I’m wrong.

Was wondering north face jacket that’s 700 fill no hood super soft has white 700 on left side (when it’s worn) and white little snaps on the cuffs? It can’t be a nuptuse or is it and from what year?
