I am from Delaware. I am relearning knitting due to a stroke. I belong to a couple of knitter groups. I am loving your podcast.

You can be what your heart desire’s. I started knitting in 1965, but I had another career, and upon retirement I am now making a personal item for each of my family, and my associated family members, continue to pursue your love for crafts. I am sure with the tone of your voice you will love these crafts. Diversify your projects, be safe and happy. Master what you do.

Hi, I’m Jenny from NJ. We have very similar likes as far as patterns and projects. I just finished the Vertices Unite shawl in Magpie Fibers Swanky Sock and it is so dreamy! I have also preview knit for Brooklyn Tweed. I knit a Gudrun Johnson colorwork cardigan with steeking. It was really a lot of fun. The Cavalgante sweater is one of my dream knits too. Happy knitting!

Hi glad to see another knitter of color, Anyway in regards to Alice Starmore waistcoat you can do one of two things. First contact Alice and see if you can buy her yarn in a skein then look at the yardage in the book and order what colors you want from her yarn then order the yarn and knit in your colorway. Hopefully she sales yarn also without being in a kit since the book was publish years ago. I would hope that as a fashion designer she knows colorways change from year to year. Second) You can always buy yarn from other places the thing you'll have to remember and which is most important is that you get the gauge right you don't always have to use the yarn that they suggest or used. Hopefully you can resolve this issue and enjoy knitting the waistcoat you want. Good luck

Really enjoyed watching your podcast. Great job. I too enjoyed your editing😊. I’m an expat New Yorker living in NJ. LOVE LOVE knitting and have a huge stash. I’m currently attempting to use my stash on the many patterns I have in my Ravelry library instead of acquiring more of both! I too knit for my Mom scarves and wraps but just finished “Like A Cloud” by Jodi locatelli in biches and buches yarn held with mohair! She loves it it’s light but so warm. Keep up the great podcasting.

Another wonderful knitting podcast discovery. I'm an american expat in the UK. I'm glad to see more black women knitters. I've been knitting for over 50 years and I've set a personal world record for FO because of the pandemic. I tend to be a monogamous knitter too but it works for me to have a large project on the side like a blanket or large shawl and also smaller pallet cleansing projects when I get bored with something. Keep on knitting! 🧶

Hello from Philly! Really enjoyed your podcast... And thanks for putting all the links to the patterns you talked about in the description box. I'm about to make my Ravelry "Favorites" list a whole lot longer!!

I really liked your first podcast. I am from Vero Beach Florida. I am a Human Resources Director. I am working on or plan to work on two patterns from Fiber Tales called Tegna and a second sweater Bergen Sweater. I purchased the yarn for both. Caitlin Hunter is the designer. I’ve never knitted a sweater before. I only knit socks but I love knitting socks. I am currently knitting the Bird’s Eye Socks for my Significant Other. The pattern is in the Knitting for Him book. I love to make quilts. I am trying to sell them. That’s a bit about me. Can’t wait for your next podcast.

Excellent job on your Autumn League Pullover. This has been on my list for a while, but never started because I could not wrap my head around the neck and starting flat. I'm a new knitter and a visual learner and although I have knitted the Flax sweater, it was done following the visual instructions from another YT knitter. I am now working on a v-neck sweater and Autumn League finally makes sense to me. My problem is I was looking too far ahead and did not realize the neckband would be done later. Anyway, glad to have found your channel and your knitting style is of interest to me. Can't wait to see your creations.

Heya and happy belated new year!! I'm just joining you now (can I just say how much I am glad we can hear people from close and far through this!!), so will be adding you to my subs and catching up with your pods over the next few days!
I too have stash shame (or I should, but I'm shameless so, oh well 😅) it's a good place to be! 🤣

Edited for Happy Accident yarn - looks awesome!! 🤩

Edited again, now I've finished your pod/video/craft jnl !
So I'm from the UK, and quite a new knitter, just a year or 2 in, so really want to get techniques down and increase speed.
I've joined the KAL Travelling Afghan 2021, and have an ongoing project of a rainbow cardi I want to finish, a baby blanket I started to learn lacework (finished 1 for my sis and one in a thicker weight/ better colour for here), and a blanket my daughter has asked for )- really going to be busy this year! Looking forward to seeing what you get up to!!

I am Tonya from TX. I'm glad to have stumbled upon your channel because you are not alone in decision paralysis. Because of that, my only 2021 making goal is to use my stash before buying anything. As motivation to knit and crochet more, I am allowing myself to buy one 100g skein after I use 1, 000g. Currently, I am participating in the hiberknitalong and knitting the winter lights shawl. Surprisingly, it has been a monogamous knit. I have several socks on the needles but I have maybe spent a few minutes knitting on them since starting the shawl. Great first episode and I look forward to seeing what you knit next.
