Love..SHRINKING MAN! As well as... HIGH SIERRA. COLORADO TERRITORY... is fantastic too! I would put it in my Top 5 Westerns from the 40s.

Nice pickups, Brian. I saw HIGH SIERRA this year and was quite taken with it. That's on my wishlist, for sure. I want to see THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING MAN and RATCATCHER. I haven't watched any of Melvin Van Peebles' directorial efforts, but I would be interested to check one out, as well. I got three from the sale this year: KISS ME DEADLY, NAKED LUNCH, and MEMORIES OF MURDER. The first two I saw back in the '90s and remember liking them really well, so it will be great to revisit on Blu-ray in my home theater. MOM I only saw last year, but I look forward to watching it again and checking out the supplemental package including one of the director's short films.

I think Amazon runs a sale as well, i usually dont find what i want in stores, so that helps me out.

When I heard about High Sierra's release close to the November sale, it immediately went to the top of my list. Picked it up yesterday, with one of my all-time favorites, Nicholas Ray's, In a Lonely Place. Probably will pick up, Shindo's Onibaba and Kuroneko later in the month. I have heard a lot about The Shrinking Man, sounds like one I need to check out.

Thanks for sharing! I was thinking of getting The Incredible Shrinking Man myself so glad to see its loaded with extras i'll add that to me buy list. I'll be getting the 4K of Citizen Kane later this month before the sale ends, so excited for that. I watched Blue Velvet from David Lynch the first time last night with a friend, it was the Criterion BluRay and loved it so I'll be getting my own copy as well. After that not sure there are several films I am eyeing but don't know what else to grab just yet.

I am thinking about getting Todd Hayne's Safe. I remember it being recommend back in the Scorsese episode of the Pure Cinema Podcast. I think it will be more emotionally reasonant in this current era of self-isolation. I'm also thinking about getting Brian De Palma's Blow-Out on Blu-ray; I've been meaning to re-vist that film for a while now.

Richard Matheson is one of my favorite authors as well. Two of his Shock! volumes are on my shelf along with The Shores of Space.
