Vintage Patchwork Quilted Coat - Churn Dash Pattern

This coat was created from one of a kind vintage quilt. The original quilt was of exceptional quality and well preserved without stains. The Quilt top was removed from the original quilt, cleaned, and quilted with new batting and new 100% cotton fabric. The layers were quilted together by a professional “longarmer.”

Sewing Process:
All seams are “finished” off with binding fabric.
Five vintage buttons
Three pockets: two in-seam pockets and an inside cell phone pocket measuring 5”x7”.

Roomy fit for sizes 8 to 12 women sizes.
Base of neck to hem: 38 inches.
Back Pit to Pit: 21 inches
Sleeve: Measured from Shoulder area – 25 inches (roughly due to raglan sleeve style)

Cleaning:
These coat/jackets are meant to be WORN. If your jacket does need cleaning, don’t be afraid to wash on the gentle cycle with cold water and laid flat to dry. I like to use Dawn soap for spot cleaning stains and “Retro Wash” to clean my jackets.
