Remembering Totalbiscuit

He had an opinion
He was brutally Honest
I didn't always agree with him
but I sure did respect the shit out of him
besides that, he was very funny in his snarky British way
He was a great entertainer
his character bounced off people like Jesse Cox so well

He was a great Man and I cannot believe he is gone
even his latest health update I was like Nah he will be fine

I miss the guy more than I would have ever thought, never really talked to him, not even on social media,
but every single time I think to myself "I want to play something new" I remeber that my go-to guy is gone,
every time a game company does something shady, everytime I fire up a cool indie game I found through TB...
Miss you man.

So often I find myself thinking "TB would love this game" or "What would TB think about this new game?"

TB was and forever will be the best, he was truly the best of us. I'll never forget him, he was a great man.

It seems since his passing the games industry have unleashed armageddon. The amount of times I yearned for TB's opinion in the past year is beyond measure. Where was our gatekeeper during the Fallout 76, Battlefield V, Anthem, Diablo Immortal & Epic store debacle ? RIP TB, your brutal honesty is sorely missed but the memory lives on.

John Bain was one of my personal heroes, and I am sad that I never had the opportunity to meet the man. His sarcasm, his wit, his complete and total disregard for the opinion of "the masses" was what drew me to him in the first place. I loved watching his commentary and I still do, even to this day, on the most random of topics. His skill in choosing what he wanted to say, and his skill in straightforward and no holds barred delivery make him one of the best commentators of our time. I may not have always agreed with him, but I respected his opinion, and I am saddened by his passing. We are infinitely worse for this loss. TB, we miss you, and always will. I hope that wherever you are, you are being critical of those surroundings, and making them better by your words. God bless you, friend.

Have been going on a TB binge lately and I wasn't sure why. I guess I subconsciously remembered it was getting close to the anniversary of his passing. I will forever miss you TB.

Totalbiscuit had a massive influence on me as a gamer. He really was a great man. I always respected what he said because he always seemed to genuinely believe what he said and argued it rationally and coherently. I remember something he said during his 250, 000 subscriber video on Deus Ex, that he wanted to "try and, to some degree, kind of raise the bar in terms of the content that was available in terms of just straight up video game commentaries", and I would say that he more than succeeded. He was one of, if not *the, * the best, and we're all worse off without him.
