God couldn't even change people's minds or hearts, but we can change situations such as investing time, love and resources into struggling neighborhoods. There's a good reason why like minded people congregate in the same community; they share ideas, culture, behaviors, not because they hate everyone else.

Forcing behavior only accelerates negative behavior. Some people want a race war, and few people are willing to step in to stop it, like a crowd cheering on a school yard brawl.
