you looking for a 1 week road trip to do in queensland, this videos for you. i left from the sunshine coast and headed up to kinkuna beach just south of bundy to camp for 1 night. then spend day 2 exploring 4wding beaches near bundaberg, with a quick stop off at the bundy rum distillery, when went back into the bruce highway and took the calliope turn off to start the trip to kroombit tops national park. it was about 70km to reach the kroombit campground, and its one of my favorite camping spots i've been too. there a good little 140m return walk to a lookout at kroombit and it's one of the only spots in the area you get cell service. day 3 we took the 4wd track to the boomer plane crash which is an ww2 crash that wasn't discovered for over 50 years, a ranger on a fire watch happened to stumble upon it by pure accident. it's a nice short hike definitely worth it. then there's a one way 4wd track back to the camp grounds, that had a few rocky sections and steep bits ( do not attempt in rain). day 4 completed the razorback track it took just under 3 hours to complete but we did stop many times to look at the views as your driving along the ridge. i still had over 30 psi in my tyres and didn't have any problems on the track it was easier than i originally thought. although with a bit of rain i can image how hard this track would become, there was a warning put out 2 weeks before i did the track saying to take caution as the road is rough. the track is for high clearance 4wds and for people with experience so if your still not fully confident with 4wding i would give the razorback a miss or just hop into someone else's car. after the razorback stopped into biloela pub and had a burger and drink before hitting the road and driving towards carnarvon where i camped for free on a gravel pit 10 kms north of the carnarvon turn off. i will release pt2 soon, i just thought i would break it up into 2 videos with pt1 more in kroombit tops and pt2 being on carnarvon and the big 22 km hike through the gorge, pt2 won't really have any 4wding but this channel is all about exploring and adventure and there was a lot of that at carnarvon.

Cool, great little adventure there. Glad the gamble paid off going on the worn out tyres. Looking forward to part 2.

Hey! I love your video, Kroombit Tops is such a magical place, we had the most amazing night camping there, even with the cheeky possums. I actually think we were camped there at the same time as you and we even ran into each other along the Beautiful Betsy walking track. We have the black Hilux in your vid around the 8:49 mark at the Betsy carpark. As we headed out I noticed your comment in the National Park visitors book and I found your YouTube channel noted in there and here I am! We’re also from the Sunny Coast and trying to do a lot more exploring around our local area, it’s so great to have found you guys on here 😊
Hope to see you around again!
