Kemba Walker wasted his entire career in Charlotte under Michael Jordan.

Man Trae Young only been in the league for 6 seasons and you’re telling me his career is wasted? If you’re gonna do Trae like that why not put Lamelo Ball in here too while you’re at it 😂😂

Trae Young has 2 playoff series wins in his 5 years.

Damian Lillard has 4 playoff series wins in 11 years.

Yet many people do not view Lillard as wasted or a fake star, but everyone loves to rip on Trae already.

Zach LaVine despite his flashy dunks is a really passive player he don’t have that hunger to win he don’t got that dawg in him

Kevin Garnett in Minnesota definitely comes to mind. A top player at that time, KG was the focal point of the T wolves. But with the bad roster construction, KG never really had the chance to shine until he got to Boston.

I'd say CP3, but not because he wasn't in the playoffs, but because something about him always made him lose when he was so close.

Same reasons I wondered why most people were questioning his max level contract. The bulls didn’t sincerely build around him and he got comfortable with that

Since you briefly mentioned McGrady, I think it is fair to also mention the great Shareef Abdur-Rahim of the Vancouver Grizzlies. His career was so depressing, and he was on such a terrible team that was run by an incompetent front office up in Canada.

The common denominator is poorly ran teams. This is why more young players should refuse to go to the perennial bad teams and demand trades much quicker. Francis did it, worked great for Kobe, worked great for Bo, Elway, and Eli in football. They do it all of the time in baseball.

Embiid is on pace to joining this list in the future. At least he has the accolades to be a HOF for sure already.

Zach Lavine, the modern day Vince Carter. Super athletic, great dunker and elite shooter lacking the hunger to win. Just like Gilbert Arenas said "He's just nice"

Mitch Richmond deserves a mention. He was on the an mediocre Warriors team early on but in his prime he was on terrible Kings teams. He averaged like 25 points on the kings but they were terrible, then goes to the Wizards and they’re awful and thankfully he won a championship with the Lakers but he so old by then.
