If you get leather, that lasts the longest. Fabric all wears out

Also look at what the frame is made out of, cheap pine or a kiln dried hardwood

Another option regarding fabrics is Sunbrella!
I would recommend to use on dining chairs, banquettes, benches in mudrooms, ottomans, even headboards... anywhere with HIGH TRAFFIC, CHILDREN or PETS! :)
