Courtney I am always wowed by your talent that brings life to everything on the page!!! Sets you apart from the rest of us for sure!! Also want to thank you for simple cards which we all need to keep up with the flow of friends and family cards in addition to those few (attempts) at very special, maybe more intricate cards. The tip for dealing with warping for me is priceless as I learn better use of water and glue quantity!!

Yes please. I like that idea to stay to what is in the kit for the most part. For people who don’t have all the same supplies, I think that really helps them. I am a have a whole lot of everything person. But I find most of us are more creative with limited supplies.

Cool cards loved the second card technique using the rainbow clouds and glitter drops. I have started covering my entire vellum background with double sided adhesive. TFS... I also realized that I can add my Pebo drawing gum fisquet to mask off my raindrops before adding the Distress Oxides watercolor to the background or my Glossy Accents ... cool inspiration... be well! 😘✨✨

Thanks for a great video. As for your question on the kits I personally prefer that you use what is in the kit with minimal added product.

I’m looking forward to receiving my April SSS kit. I’m hoping I get some Gina K inks instead too, I’ve heard so many great reviews about her inks. I struggle to get a good result with hybrid inks - I love the idea of hybrid inks and I have the SSS ones, I probably need to practice more! Love all your cards ❤️

You’re totally going to become hooked on the Gina K inks. I also am a dye ink fan and have tons of every brand but once you try Gina’s ... you’ll see as you use them more. Lol

Courtney, I’m surprised you struggled with this kit, especially seeing what you came up with. I really like this kit, and have enjoyed it. I love all of your cards. Loved your cards, great inspiration for this kit. In answer to your question about just using the kit supplies, there are a couple of other u-tubers who make cards with the kit and bring so many other things in from outside the kit that it makes it difficult to replicate or even get ideas. I understand there will be some embellishments you use to finish things off like NUVO drops, etc., but sometimes the u-tubers bring in so much from outside that you really can't replicate without waiting for an order to come in to get the supplies that they use. There is one other person who will sometimes use items from a previous Simon Says kit and that is fine because if you subscribe you probably have the item they are using. But I don't care to have so many background stamps and dies used when you are showing off the kit. That's my opinion, I'm sure others won't agree but you asked and I'm sorry for writing a book here.

I don't do Facebook but...I would tend to think to use what is in the kits, which I don't do much of either so I should probably shut up, but I think everyone can use inspiration for different ways to use kit items. I realize you do have to bring in some stuff, but I would think minimal bring ins are inspirational and encouraging for people really on a budget that aren't able to purchase some of the add-ons or supplies-tools other have!
