Great Road Trips: Pacific Coast Highway in a Mazda MX5 RF

In this series, powered by Shell V-Power NiTRO+ Premium Gasoline, we are exploring three great road trips in three great sports cars, for our first installment we have traveled to California, home to the Pacific Coast Highway, one of the most famous roads in the world. Our journey takes us from the sleepy fishing village of Morro Bay to the luxury resort destination of Monterey. While you can enjoy a drive up PCH in any car, I have chosen the 2021 Mazda MX5 RF, the last of the truly affordable sports cars. Beautiful country! True story - my husband and I drove from Sonoma to Monterey on our honeymoon. We took the highway to get their faster and then drove along the PCH at night IN THE DARK. We had no idea of the scenery we were missing out on!

Love this! Driving the PCF in a fun car should be on everyones bucket list. I've done it a few times from LA to SF. Morro Bay and the little town of Cambria with a visit to the Hearst Castle are now core memories-- and of course Big Sur.... just majestically beautiful.
