Sorry to post again but That 2nd lick is SOO like Joe would play. I hear very similar in Raspberry Jam Delta-V. I got to meet him a a few years ago. I asked him about this song cause I absolutely LOVE that intro to the song. He laughed and said " I dont even know HOW i did that anymore lol" We all got a good laugh, but really showed that he is just like everyone else, although a much better version than me for sure haha.

I was aware of Steve from day 1 but after 3 years I'm moving on from Marty to Steve.

I wish i had just 1/4 of your talent. I would be so happy. By the time i have the time to truly dedicate to the guitar, ill be too old for my damned fingers to work :(

I have a style that incorporates arpeggios similar to the greats in whole hand picking that the musical academies are left to study and attempt to understand.what key the keys that my ear brings me to not my brain, wow. I’m involved in expanding my understanding of theory to move this around the fretboard under my control .this exists in that realm that I’m sure you know of and hopefully still or have experienced.im talking about simultaneously running three parts in different tempos at the same time.and wondering how is any of this possible

How to solo like Joe Satriani: First, be as good of a guitar player as Joe Satriani. I'm still working on my Johnny Ramone skills.
