Agreed. He (Trump) needs to stick to the issues on people's minds, (the economy, the border- illegal immigration, energy independence) that overwhelmingly favor his record as president. Way too extreme in his messaging at times, expressing conjecture as if factual, very controversial at times, and too personal as well with the personal sounding put-downs. Gives the opposition ammunition to use against him, paint him as being an extremist, sexist, and racist.
