Prison should await anyone who develops or promotes AI. Everyone promoting AI is positioning this as this brilliant piece of software like all other pieces of software in which is only operates when we imitate it and it depends on us for everything. Like any other technical advancement to help our lives, once the "bad guys" get it, it'll be used against us. Case in point: Caller ID...supposed to let you know who's calling before you answer. But how and why is it possible and allowed for someone to make their originating number look like, say, your neighbor's number? Corporate guardrails = just self-policing...not my idea of protection. Government rules & regs are necessary... *_YESTERDAY!_*
