First of all, Cartographers was the reason I finally caved into trying out BotM. Second of all... Whenever I travel, I HAVE to visit a bookstore. You really get a good feel for the culture of a place based on what books are offered there. Even if it's a chain store... There will be different books when you go elsewhere. As such, I personally require a trip into a bookstore when I travel. It's really the best way to be exposed to books you might not find otherwise. Also, the books you picked up...YES! Some are now officially on my wishlist. I love your unusual finds!

I highly recommend the audiobook of The Dutch House. It’s narrated by Tom Hanks, and his narration absolutely enhances the experience.

I loved Daughter of the Moon Goddess! So beautiful and atmospheric. I also just got Gallant as an ebook from the library but if there are illustrations maybe i need to pick up the physical copy…..

I really think you would love The Mask of Mirrors! Honestly one of my favorite fantasy books of last year, definitely a more politically motivated story but nonetheless exciting! I need
to start book 2 soon!
