As a subscriber and avid follower of Cody, Liam, Alec Steele & Jesse the Samurai Carpenter, I gotta say - I love these crossovers!! This is how a community is built, by competent craftsmen recommending and giving support to each other's fine work. I love it!!

Liam does make his own handles. I watched the video of him finishing your ax.

Cody, The sheath is tight because you are putting in on backwards. The snap goes on the axe on the same side as the Maker's Mark. It is just beautiful. Thanks for Liam's channel.

My brother has two of Liam's axes and it blows me away a kid his age ( I believe he's in his early 20s) makes such and extremely high quality tool, being in the trades I worry about the today's generation knowing how to actually build and make stuff, hopefully there are more kids out there like Liam!!

Finally found this video. I got to meet Liam at the Blade Show in Atlanta, Georgia a few years ago. Very humble talented guy.

I think the sheath is that tight because it's on upside down. It looks like it has a non vertically reversible shape to it to properly fit the bit right side up. Truly another mark of exceptional craftsmanship.

Truly a beautiful piece of functional artwork. I just read his bio and this is a young many who has only been doing this for 8 years and is only 21 years old! Amazing. Can't wait to see your videos where you are using this axe to hear how you like it after using it.

Congratulations Liam, I've been waiting for this video once he announced he'd be sending one to Cody. I knew it would be a good review. The axe is hardened as well so you can use for pounding unlike other axes that require no contact to them.

I am so impressed by that kind of craftsmanship. And to do the leather and wood work as well! That is talent.
