Alright I have never uploaded any videos before but when I found this trick, I had to freaking tell all the kids who are being tortured by family link.

I use this hack all the time because I am 12 myself and this is working as of March 2021. I don't do fake videos.

Enjoy and note that some apps don't have sound for some reason but I am sure it wont be a problem, the fix is in the comments. (LOOK IN PINNED COMMENT FOR FIX)

(🔇SOUND PROBLEM FIX🔇):
Since day 1 there has been a problem with the sound while doing this hack. Some apps seem to have sound while others don't. Also, people are constantly commenting about how they have no sound, and I have to type the same fix over and over again. So I decided to just write the fix here. --->

(⚠️FIX): So not every apps has sound. To watch YouTube, Tik Tok etc.. you will have to use the internet apps, because they usually have sounds. (chrome, Samsung internet, Firefox) Although I have been noticing some of the internet apps I used to use with this hack, stopped making sounds. But some internet apps do. There are 1000s of internet search apps that > (So are on the Google play store --> if a one of the Internet App's sound suddenly stops working just download a different one)

(❗)That being said, I will list all the current search engines I have used in the past that are either working with sound or not working⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️

Here are two useful tips.

1. Open secure folder apps before bedtime because Family Link may disable the app and you wont be able to access the apps. You could bind Secure Folder to a fingerprint, but that could be pretty inconsistent.
2. Add Settings to edge bar to access it faster

And, for me, I have no audio while my phone is locked. Anyone else have this issue and does anyone know how to solve this?

Just a warning. I've used this hack for a year and learnt a few things, when your time finishes and you use this, your parent can see you used your phone but they cant see what you used. And if you use your secure folder when your time isn't up, your parent cant see what you've been using but obly your time running out, which attracts alot of attention. This is only if your likes to monitor what apps your use and for how long :) just a heads up

(Also, I found out how to get the sound back! Just turn your do not disturb on and off by going to the settings app, which you can access by going to the edge panel and selecting all apps (the button with 9 dots) 😌🌟)

Fun fact: if your on a app that you added to secure folder, it wont lock your screen when your screentime is up

One way I got the sound to work in apps was by turning dnd off and on again (can be accessed in settings). Also, Secure folder can be downloaded on the play store (look for the one published by samsung) but I'm not too sure about other phones (I'll do an update somewhat soon, like 3ish days). I have only tried this on s10 but so far its worked perfectly, thanks a lot Christoble for the awesome video

Hey guys, i have recently started to have a problem like everyone else with the assistant menu dissapearing, but i've found a temporary fix a few days ago after some attempts.

(Important note: this seems to ONLY works on samsung phones.)

So, since assistant menu is dissapearing many try to take a screenshot and press share and then enter the private folder. But on most phones, this wont work. It could say: 'app is not available' or just not work at all.

So, check the replies for the steps to fix this.
