1987 is a poor comparison. That was a computer program related crash. Circuit breakers were put into effect to remedy that anomaly. The crash was not an economic event. These tariffs and the ensuing trade war is going to have a devastating effect on the economy. The SPX is selling at a 23 x earnings. During recessions the PE drops to 13 or 14 x. We have much more room to the downside.

Be careful brother. The destruction is not only the markets here. American systems are being dismantled and checks and balances ignored. The bigger picture is trouble in the short term. I picked up some BTC because I think it there's a chance this may be the impetus for it to play a bigger role soon.
