Howdy!

I have been back in to reading for a good year now, so it’s time to challenge myself!

After watching the fabulous @iangubeli video “Ten Difficult Books I Want To Read (Because I’m Insane)” I started to think about the books that I have been putting off and decided to make my own video on the topic.

I will be honest, a lot of these books aren’t “hard” by a lot of people’s standards, but hey, we are all different.

I couldn’t agree more with you, I look at the dark tower series and feel nothing. Like I have 0 desire to pick those books up and I am confident they will be the last of kings books I read! 💕 also I’ve heard such good things about the count of monte cristo but for some reason I am intimidated

What translation of monte cristo do u have? I speak french and we are reading it en groupe and we noticed that those reading the chapman translation were reading like 300 pages less than what we were reading bc so much of the prose has been cut off. Buss translation is more accurate

I read Infinite Jest, one of the more frustrating experiences of my life. Can’t say I would recommend (though the writing itself is excellent)
