Gotta say, I would LOVE to see this whole thing through to the end, and by that I mean wiping out all other kingdoms before having to face your oldest ally, the Vlandians. It'll probably take like 2000 days so at least a dozen more videos, but you've shown me mechanics I didn't even know about AND the story is just so damn compelling while also being so far above what I could pull off if I tried to do it that I'm living vicariously through your gameplay

Pretty sure the Aserai are just being opportunistic. They're not nearly as fearsome as the Khuzaits on the battlefield and you used to be at war, so they probably saw you as a target to ransom nobles and land back in order to fill their coffers.
