My dad was a successful businessman and he taught me at a young age you need to leave enough room in any deal for both parties to benefit. First of all it's the right thing to do as a human, but even just from a business perspective it's the smart move. When it's win win people wanna keep making deals with you and everyone starts prospering.

I appreciate you thinking of the LCS owner and not pushing too hard for a great deal, and your reasoning as to Why....Proud of you. Great variety of World coins in this haul.

Wow what a treasure trove of a find! I liked that Dominican republic konch shell coin. Good on you on what you said, shop owners have been down and out for a while, so throw em a bone on a sale 👍

Most of the time, I get 80% silver at my lcs because I love Canadian silver and I can get it for dirt cheap. Also I usually find a few really old sterling Canadians in there too, as I saw that you did too. Also that 1955 Canadian half is a semi key date and that 1917 is in good enough condition to be a 40 dollar coin, so is the 1888 Newfoundland. Picking up old Canadian Victorias and Edwards 25c coins is amazing to have at spot.

The Panamanian and Cuban in the batch of .800 fine is actually .900, so if you paid .800 prices for it, that's a great price! Well under spot. I can tell that the Taler isn't cleaned at all. That's original mint ... shine. And the Mexican that came out of the .750 bag is .720.

Why was the coins of Philippines on American times different? In 1930's, the Philippines become Commonwealth so the reverse of the coin changes also. That two designs are Coat of Arms of the Philippines on American Occupation.
