This guy is brilliant. The Houston Museum should start a youtube channel with this guy teaching classes on prehistoric subjects.

Again, more content like this on YouTube, where most content has just fallen so far off any positive spectrum. So refreshing to have entertainment, education, and thoughtfulness in one nice little package. I was a total dinosaur nerd kid and I did not know this (I know they aren't dinosaurs, but you get my point).

He's my favorite presenter. Great sense of humor.

my favorite part is how he just simply doesn't acknowledge the human skeleton suspended in the air, even as the camera repeatedly pans to it

Is that a hunter flying through the air?

“That was a bad dad joke, I don’t have any kids.”

Lies! That was a dad joke within a dad joke!

Man, I wish I could take my daughter to this museum, all your exhibits look incredible.
Does the museum ever have any sensory friendly hours?
I'd hate to drag her through a 16 hour drive for the environment to be too overwhelming.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
I did not know that they were different.
It’s great to learn about something at any age. (I’m older)😅
I appreciate your content and your personality! 🫶🏼🌍🫶🏼

Thanks for this; it was easy to understand and remember! You know, it's funny-- I live about an hour away from the Lehner Mammoth Kill Site in AZ and I've been on a tour given by one of the local paleontologists explaining the local ecology, climate, animal populations and so forth of how it was 11, 000 years ago; and I cannot for the life of me look out over that area from my friend's home without imagining and practically expecting to see them. It's got huge stretches of open brush and mesquite with little streambeds here and there all running down to the San Pedro River and depending on where you are, more hills than houses; that paleontologist made it come alive to us all (and then we were allowed to try our hands at throwing an atlatl, which just made it better. One guy almost skewered a car's dashboard window!) GREAT day!

I was wondering why the mammoth was suspended in mid air

till I realized that the mastodon is throwing a human away, while the mammoth is being hunted down by a human

The fat content in the meat makes all the difference in flavor. Mammoths must have had some delicious marbling
