GTA Online Ultimate Tow Truck Guide, New Passive Business Guide, How Much Money Can You Make?

My guide on the new Tow Truck added as part of the Chop Shop DLC for GTA Online.

After 100 missions, I want there to be a mission where you tow a beached whale back out to sea.

For me i have alot of fun with this update because it added some more chill "free roam" things to do
- Payphone hit 85k
- tow truck 2 cars for around 60k+
- selling bunker weapons 50k
- selling ceo mixed goods 50k
- then doing one act of dr dre heist
A good mix for the way i like to play even if its not the best money method :)

The business is not bad. It is pretty good for tow truck and safe. But the car heist is really meh because of the weekly limit. I hope that changes later on.

I kind of wish we had more chop shop locations but honestly I like being a tow truck driver out in the desert- it just has a nice vibe

Always source 2 cars before you turn off the game because the salvage works offline & when u turn the game back on you will get paid

I have the Marrietta Heights salvage yard. My vehicle spawns in a good space. You have decent access to a couple of highways, just like the Strawberry location. I rarely have to go through the most hilly areas.

2:41 Personally I disagree with the session swap strategy since you can just blow your tow truck up with two grenades and the mission will end; this allows you to start a new one by going inside the salvage yard again and entering the truck which will still be there inside.

A marginal time difference but something nonetheless. Thanks for the video Professional!

The scrap yard is a better business than something like the acid lab just for the fact that the cars salvage while you’re offline. All the businesses in game need to run like this. I’d love to log back on and have all my businesses have product in them to sell.

Oh man how I absolutely love your tutorials. I've said this before but I owe every one of the hundreds of millions I've grinded (and spent lol) over the years to you.
I got bored at lvl 520 and made a second character, starting from 0 dollars and thanks to what I learned from you, it only took a few nights and I already had the nite club and the Acid Lab.
Now the new character just got rich from heisting and bought the junk yard and THIS video will make him a LOT of money.
So nice to hear your voice again and as usual you have dissected the DLC completely and your advice will make me even more wealthy.

I wouldn't call it passive, but it's definitely passive adjacent. And for a roleplaying fool like me, it's kind of a fun way to make money with my current gameplay loop. I two two vehicles, get two auto shop mechanics delivering customized cars to customers, deliver a motorcycle to a customer myself, and deliver some warehouse goods to the docks. It's all small gains, but they add up, and it's fun and relaxing for me.

I like the tow truck job I put on a red jumpsuit cosplaying as a tow truck driver, I even stopped a red lights because I'm not time to get there.

You mentioned the nightclub so here is a tip. To do super easy 4 second missions for its popularity, just enter passive mode then enter the nightclub and the mission will just be a cut scene for throwing someone out of the building. Nightclub is my fav and thank you for the video I will soon get the tow truck

If you enter your nightclub in passive mode you will always get a 10 second toss out mission, it will never change. I love the salvage yard and I start with getting 2 cars, and then 2 more when the first 2 are salvaged but even with the shortest tows 4 times in a row, it's not easier or quicker than walking into the nightclub and tossing someone out, disabling passive mode and walking out.

There’s no way it’s better passive than the nightclub. I don’t ever have to do the nightclub popularity missions. Most of the time when I walk in the nightclub, Marcel gives a mission to kick someone out and it restores one bar of popularity. I just keep it at 4 bars.

I weirdly love tow trucking it’s so relaxing even in free mode and public lobbies when I can, I just wish we could put decals on the truck like the red autos logo or even have a third tow truck in being the slam van tow truck.

Hey Professional! All you have to do to keep Nightclub at full popularity is throw out the guy at the bar or drive a vip home once an hour. That makes 100k every in game hour. Vehicle cargo is SO underated. You make sure you have 10 low end, 10 mig range and if you have no less you can source up to 10 high end cars in a row in a private session, i use the cargobob to help and its so easy. Then i go into public lobbys and in between payphone hit and nightclub i sell cars and acid. I easily average over 500k-700k an hour with everything and have low stress fun. Its nice if you have gta plus because its free ghost organization and you can always deliver you car before it runs out. Imo this chop shop was an 8 milliin dollar showpiece. Anyways i know im ranting but nobody ever talkes about vehicle cargo and i think its in top three of all businesses. Peace!!

This business isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t call it a “passive” business. You still have to go out of your way to get most things in this DLC as opposed to prior ones.

Using the tow truck is where you get your salvage money. Always sell robbery cars to Yusuf Amir (at least until Rockstar opens up the ability to make robbery cars into Personal Vehicles). The Safe is the only passive source of income in the business, but you need to regularly maintain the Chop Shop just like you would with the Nightclub.

I wish you could take the tow truck out on demand rather than just missions. Itd be incredibly useful and fun to tow players cars, damaged vehicles that need delivery, etc etc

Hey regarding flash drives, I stopped using them for storing data long ago as they contain cheap flash, and are usually formatted in FAT32 (which is not a safe filesystem). So I think if you store videos from playstation, you should use an external HDD. They are much faster and have protection against data corruption as they use NTFS
