Nick Roach said that there will be no animations in the Divi 5 builder. I like that decision. No reason to slow everything down with animations.

I like the new layout. The layers (should be labeled Navigation) belongs on the left and the settings belong on the right. This how most high-end software is laid out and much more intuitive. It would be nice to hide the panels when working on large layouts -- slide in and out. This is far better than Divi 4s implementation. The Builder settings can be hidden away (for me), I might look at them one a month. The responsive toggles at the top are good. Thanks for the video. I'm looking forward to the new Divi. Oh, I need to mention that I learned something from this: I didn't know Divi 4 page settings can be moved to the sides instead always on the bottom! Thanks!!
