MSHP 2020 Virtual Residency Showcase

Learn how to register and what to prepare to maximize your virtual residency experience at the MSHP 2020 Midyear Clinical Meeting!

On Friday, September 18, 2020, 7:30 AM will be MSHP’s first ever Virtual Residency Showcase. Pathable will be the online platform used, and will allow you to enter the virtual showcase at 3:20 PM CST and start visiting residency programs.

In order to mimic the live showcase as much as possible you have 3 main ways to learn about the programs:

1️⃣ 1st you can enter the booth, look around at their available information and type any questions you may have.

2️⃣ 2nd you can enter the virtual booth and meet the program participants with a Zoom platform. This will be as a group and mimic the live showcases as close as possible.

3️⃣ Lastly, you can schedule short one-on-one private zoom meetings with programs. You have to schedule these and have the program participant accept it. We recommend if you utilize this function to keep the meetings short and schedule towards the end of the showcase time.

🔑 As an attendee, there are two key suggestions to keep in mind:

• 🗝 Do some research on residency programs before the showcase
• 🗝 Come with questions!

We HIGHLY recommend you do some basic research in advance on programs you are interested in (i.e. information available on residency programs' websites and through ASHP). This showcase is an excellent opportunity for you to gain clarity on what programs you would like to apply to this winter.
