Before I knew Jesus I was in a relationship. Towards the end of the relationship I was diagnosed as a type one diabetic when I was ill with mono. The mono attacked my liver, I lost 30 lbs making me weigh 130. Once I recovered and started treating myself with insulin she left me. I was ripped apart, I drank nearly 1/5th of vodka daily for a month and cursed her out saying anything I could to make her feel the way I did. 6months later my friends told me about what God did on the cross and I wept. I prayed that one day she would reach out so that I could tell her about God. One month ago, 2 years after I last spoke to her she reached out and apologized. I’m still waiting to see her in person if it is God’s will so I can share the gospel with her appropriately. Please pray that she receives the gospel so I can save her soul because I love her dearly.

I had a false conversion when I repeated a prayer a pastor told me, not even understanding the gospel and was told I was saved. I had the impression that that prayer saved me. The "conversion" didn't stick and eventually I went back to a sinful lifestyle. It wasn't until years later when I was alone with God He convicted me that I was a sinner and I repented and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. That was a genuine conversion that didn't fit the ABC salvation prayer formula, but was a cry from my heart that I knew I was a sinner on my way to hell and Jesus Christ was the only answer.

Best sermon on the GOSPEL I've ever heard. I thought I was saved about 10 years before I was saved! When I received the Holy Spirit I KNEW I was saved. They were wonderful self righteous rough tribulation years. I served GOD in the Church [building] 2 to 3 days a week I gave about 30% I was so GOOD. When I received the Holy Spirit, It was revealed that God did not like my rotten fruit. There is only one acceptable offering. The Blood of the Lamb HE provided!

I keep needing to hear this. I still struggle with sin, and have been fearful of if I'm really saved. I keep thinking if I'm saved why do I still sin? I thought getting baptized would change me, but I still sin. I keep saying I believe, but I still sin. My heart is sinful, but I believe. I question myself do I really believe? Because if I did wouldn't I be changed? Wouldn't I stop sinning? I feel like there is something I'm just not getting.
