€45k... wow, that's a lot. I was expecting it to start at around €25k. Maybe that's ignorance on my part, but once you're in that price range you're open to a whole wide gamut of options.

Great review as always. Starting price of 45k Euro is VW Golf R money though. Rennault pricing is way off as the quality is not there as apposed to the German class leaders.

Paying the government €700 a year for road tax, would kill stone dead my enthusiasm for this car, I believe mpg is in the low thirty's so more tax at the pump. Taking the pee methinks
