BNSF freight train climbs steep mountain grade through the S curves of the Moffat route.

Warning-high flange wheel noise. A three unit BNSF freight train has just emerged from tunnel 16, and is climbing the steep grade, and sharp S curves of the Moffat route in Colorado. This is a grueling route for freight trains but very exciting for rail fans. This location is far from any roads and requires many miles of hiking. Video shot September, 2014.
