Enchanté Brunch Dining Review on the Disney Wish

Enchanté is one of the adult-only restaurants on the Disney Wish along with Palo and offers a gourmet menu with seasonal ingredients with touches of Beauty and the Beast throughout the restaurant. Enchanté is open for brunch, dinner, and dessert, and here is a review of the brunch!

Hello, I loved your honest review. My husband is a chef and has worked many kitchens over the years. After it was described that they brought out your dessert and realized you did not get your chicken, he instantly said that is why your chicken was raw. They realized they forgot the chicken and tried to rush it out. Not that it makes it better. But this makes me sad.

We were at the same brunch as you guys, sitting next to you. My biggest head-scratching thought was... how do you run out of halibut before the first brunch of the first cruise?! Substituting salmon for halibut was not good. And rather than Chef Boyardee, I'd characterize the Tomato Pie as Gerber baby food. 2 oz. pours of mediocre champagne for $140 was a rip-off. All in all, I signed a tab for $500, and would have been way more satisfied with free ribs, pizza and a $10 beer up on deck!

I tried Enchante brunch just last week (Feb. 2023, so many months after you) and I’m happy to say that we had the opposite experience of you. I almost cancelled after seeing your review but so glad I kept it. I’m one of the pickiest eaters I know and I loved this meal! We substituted the halibut for Wagyu as well and both enjoyed it. The lemon dessert may be one of the best desserts I’ve ever eaten, but I love lemon so I may be a little biased 😊. Our server was Guillame and we also really enjoyed our interaction with him.

I hope others that have been there more recently had a similar experience to ours.

It’s great to be honest. But you shouldn’t act be so downright arrogant, pompous, and rude to the cast member. And for YOU to call someone pretentious is the most ironic statement I have ever heard. In all honestly the food probably isn’t great and not worth the value. But please treat all people in customer service with respect. They are not your personal servants and they are not the ones to take this frustration out on. And this is coming from someone who does NOT work in customer service. I just understand the basic common sense of social interaction.

I know the Disney Wish was delayed and I'm thinking it should have been delayed even longer. Clearly, the staff was not trained to Disney standards and clearly they were NOT ready to for such an ambitious menu and experience. And, you could tell it really hurt Pete to have to say what he said.

This is what I love about your show its honest. I was thinking of changing my travel agent for my 5yr anniversary trip and this convinced me to give you guys a try. I love honesty even if it's hey lady for this budget you might have to stay at a holiday Inn lol 😆

Food review aside, I would not put the server on the spot with such a harsh critique on camera. You basically put a spotlight on this server for thousands of people to see. And Panda doing an accent of how the server speaks is pretty demeaning.

WOW! As Pete was talking a cast member was next to him, I was starting to get uncomfortable. One thing you can say about Pete is here calls like he see's it. With 42 Disney Cruises under his belt, I trust him. The picture of the bloody Mary looked awful. I love John (Panda) traveling with Pete they are a great team.

Our group had Enchante dinner just this weekend. 100% same disappointing experience in the food and service levels, and no where close to its counterpart of Remy's on the Dream and Wonder. Grilled beef very undercooked. Wanted another glass of the wine I'd just enjoyed in The Rose... nope, they told me only certain wines were served in Enchante. I walked 100 yards back to The Rose and brought a new, full glass back with me. (Loved our pre-dinner experience at The Rose, though.) Agree that the restaurant will need time to work out the kinks.

WOW. 'Benoît' is sweating bullets lol. I'm honestly shocked at how awful such an upscale dining experience was. Both food and service. Can you imagine getting salmonella poisoning on your Disney Cruise, with a $75 upcharge from their fanciest restaurant?
