It's no secret that Collectability loves the Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse collection. In this video, John Reardon is excited to present what we believe to be the world's largest collection of Patek Philippe Ellipse watches and accessories. John describes a wide range of Ellipse watches, some clocks, cufflinks, key rings, a ring, a mirror, a zodiac necklace, the sort-after lighter, and a rarely-seen, diamond and engraved Ellipse letter opener. Dating from 1968, the Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse became much more than just a watch collection, it was a lifestyle that provided the Jet Set era with luxurious accessories to complement their elegant watches. As Thierry Stern, president of Patek Philippe said when celebrating the Ellipse’s 50th anniversary in 2018, “It’s one of those watches that shows you how to make a Patek Philippe. No gimmicks, just purity and beauty expressed through simple design.”
