Reminds me of what Scott saava once said. It was something like how he started doing art and he liked one out of 10 pieces he did. Then it was one out of 5. Then it was on out of 3. Then 3 out of 5 and now after decades of doing the work he likes nearly everything but also has grace to accept art fails. The only thing blocking you from being confident with guache is time and practice! I’m so impressed you’re doing this. It’s hard to commit

I absolutely love your channel. It’s so exiting when I see you have a new video! I really appreciate that you are so transparent with your struggles when going through a piece. Your authenticity makes you so relatable. It really helps me push past my struggles and ignore self destructive opinions of my work to complete it. If when I’m done it’s not something I’m crazy about, I don’t get debilitatingly discouraged with my abilities and am able to take it as growth to move in the right direction.

I love how you always show your struggles! Though I'm definetly not a professional artist, i do art as a hobby and hearing that someone else (esspecially someone so skilled) struggles with certain things is definitely very helpful and helps me keep going through the ugly stages. I am absolutely adoring these guache paintings so far and i cant wait to see how you learn skills and techniques enough so that Day 30 will probably look amazing Temi! <3

Girl it’s the greens! Even in makeup green eyeliner/shadows can be very patchy and give an uneven blend.

im so grateful that you document your little oopsies and share your thoughts, both the positive and the frustrated ones. i wanna start gouache but its so intimidating, and watching this series of yours reminds me its okay to struggle and also truuuust the process! the whole "dissing your own artwork while its in the process of being finished" thing is truly an artist struggle and im with you there. regardless, happy to see you making and sharing art, and all the ups, downs and inbetweens that go with it. theyre beautiful regardless.
