As an Australian I really hated that episode where the Simpsons travel to Australia because of the joke about the dingo eating a baby... The thing is that in the last 2 decades a man with his 2 friends(the friends have passed away and he is the last one standing and thus the last one who knew the truth and he said that he couldn't keep hiding the truth come forward and admitted to shooting a dingo and in a national park (hunting in a national park... Hunting dingos at all is illegal) because of the fact that these 3 men were doing something illegal they decided to keep what they did that night and what they found that night too a secret as they didn't want to go to gaol... And at the time of the shooting of the dingo they hadn't heard anything about the baby situation etc... so they go to the body of the dingo and to their surprise there is a dead human baby in its mouth... Now they didn't know at that stage anything about what had been happening re the dingo and the baby... And they also weren't 100% sure that the dead baby wasn't actually dead before they shot the dingo... So they buried all the evidence was hidden away so that no one even to this day has found poor ezalias body
The men made a stupid pact to never tell anyone but 2 of them passed away and the last man couldn't live with the guilt of knowing that the mother went to gaol an innocent woman but also he wanted Australia to know that a dingo did take her baby but either the baby died from injuries from the dingo or the bullet that also killed the dingo🤦
The thing that makes so many people angry is that the 3 men could have come forward so many times but because of the pact and bull headedness a whole family was forever ripping apart the story was made a world wide joke and a baby died... I think that most people in the end forget that this is a true story and a child is dead in the end 😭
Please do not have a joke about a dingo eating someone's baby😡 please remember that it did happen and that you are having a joke about the tragic death of a innocent Child
