Testing Arturia 3 Reverbs You'll Actually Use

French audio software developers Arturia are announcing 2 new products. The first is a new suite of 3 Reverbs You’ll Actually Use and the second is the availability of all 15 of their processing and effects plug-ins in a single bundle called the Arturia FX Collection. Let’s take a look at the new reverbs and the what you get as part of the FX Collection.

Really loving every single one of the Arturia plugins!

The saturation on the plate is warm and full, and the spring is just gritty and brutal but very analog. I use them for that. Putting the spring between a head and a cabinet of amp sims it really makes the best amps. Skipping the head and just having the spring at the start of the chain is a suberb DI guitar. I put my half cooked fuzz face clone into it and made one of the best guitar sounds I've ever come across. A sort of staccatic super responsive sound for scattering rhythm bits.

These plugins are my secrit weapon! I exclusivly work with recorded ambiance, like a room mic, never with room simulations but i do use Springs and plates heavily! Now i tried a couple reverbs so far, logics stock, waves and custom irs, but i have to say, these two blow them out of the park! The with and drive features that these plugins have makes it possible to get a absolutly stunning sound in seconds, it is insane!

This is a serious contender to the Waves Abbey Road Plates. Most reverbs I use are either the ones bundled with Cakewalk or Airwindows' MV, PocketVerbs or Nonlinear space. All free.
