Free Camping in South Dakota | The Wall Dispersed Camping | Free Camping near Badlands National Park

We experienced FREE CAMPING in South Dakota near Badlands National Park in the summer of 2020. The Nomad View Dispersed Camping, better known as "The Wall", is a great and best of all, FREE boondocking spot.
It is located about 2 miles from the entrance to Badlands National Park and about 6 miles from Wall, SD. In this video, we tell you how to get there, some set-up tips, and advantages of being in this location. We hope this inspires you and helps you find a great spot to boondock while visiting The Badlands area. Enjoy!

We are a family of 4 who loves to travel. In 2019, we bought a 30 ft. travel trailer and decided to make our dreams happen by getting out on the road. We have always LOVED traveling and now seeing our world on the road has given us opportunities to see more and make memories as a family. We are teachers and are blessed to have the same "vacation" schedule, so we make the most of it with our kids by being both weekend warriors and "school schedule" traveling--We call ourselves part-timers. We hope to share what we learn while exploring this beautiful world around us and inspire you to get out and see it, too.

We LOVE the Badlands! Thanks for putting this up so .we get another view. We have yet to boondock in the wild yet. We have dry camped at National Parks though, When we were there in the Badlands, it rained torrentially on our arrival! ~ Brad and Diana
