I know Im REALLY late, and nobody will see this, but i felt i had to set some things straight.

I believe Elliot Ludwig was not evil. It was actually Harley Sawyer, a scientist, who made these giant toys, and is thus responsible for the deaths and suffering of many children, and later, every employee in Playtime.

Catnap used to be a boy called Theodore Grambell, which the Prototype manipulated(?) Into helping them escape. Theo got into an accident, getting shocked by a green hand (how ironic) and the Prototype (for some reason) brought him back to the doctors, who saved him, at the cost of becoming Catnap.

I hope this clears stuff up for you.

The truth is the founder, Elliot Ludwig was not evil, he loves making kids smile. But when he passed away, Playtime Co. went downhill as the scientist started experimenting the kids by putting their souls in the toys.

Here is my theory:
The founder is not evil. He had the idea of an actual perfect world, not one that most psychopaths dream one. However, either an employee or a possible co-founder finds a way to grant the toys life through the use of poppies. They try, and try, but don’t succeed. Then, the co-founder asks his daughter to stay with him, whilst the one who thought of the idea tries seeing if the girl had any ideas, resulting in the girl going with them. The girl accidentally dies, but is brought back to life as a doll. The only one with them celebrates, whilst the others hear the news and leave. The founder is locked away and we will end up finding him at the end of the final chapter. He will tell us the way to escape, likely sacrificing himself.

Anyone wonder why the prototype locked poppy in that case? 1:11:25
Poppy says the prototype locked her in the case, maybe it was because she wanted to stop him or maybe it was because of something she did. We don’t know much about poppy yet, even though the game is literally called poppy playtime, if the prototype locked her away it had to be for a reason. Or maybe it’s because of who she used to be, we don’t know that either, what if she wasn’t a kid but an adult who used to work there. I have so many questions, I can’t wait for chapter 4!

Death of all Smiling Critters:
First is Dogday. We hear him screaming and laughing in the last voice line that lasts more than the other screams the Smiling Critters had in the last line. And if you listen closely to DogDays scream. You can hear his legs cut off which means he had his legs cut off. Which made him to his death. Next in line is Hoppy Hopstoch. In his line. We hear him wanting himself to go to the moon and invited us over to join. He also says “Hey! Don’t look at your Feet!” And after a few more words he gets heard screaming. I’m guessing he tried jumping on a cloud and fell. Falling to his death. Picky Piggy is next. When you press the button for the voice line. He gets heard for eating the names of his friends. Like Flaked Unicorn. That ‘Unicorn’ was. CraftyCorn because She’s a unicorn. When Picky Piggy ate all of his friends.He requests us to be his friend. So what’s his death. Maybe his death was of starvation because he says in the start of his last line he says “I’m still hungry…” So he died of Starvation. That’s why he didn’t scream in his last line. Ludwig isn't evil. After he died, the scientist started experimenting and put the kids of the play Cares souls in the toys. That's why each and every smiling critter, all of the foes, have different personalities and roles. After the scientists' experiment went wrong, the foes and smiling critters went crazy and killed all of the playcare workers. I don't necessarily know how all of the markings got on all of the walls. Each foe was placed in their specific spot for a reason. CatNap, he was placed in home sweet home bc that's where a boy became friends with CatNaps soul and once The experiment went wrong the boys sould was put into catnaps body. Mrs. Delight was placed in the school bc oregenilly The schools counselor. After the experiment went wrong, catnap used the red smoke on Mrs. Delight, and that's why she is what she is. The smiling critters. The smiling critters each had different bodies, and after the scientists experiment went wrong, all of the smiling critters were placed into the bodies of the smiling critters. Kiss Missy. She was a female living with her parents. She was sent to play Care bc her parents died. The scientists' newest experiment was the girl. After the girl had died, the scientist placed her soul into kissy Missy toy. Huggy wuggy. His story was the same as kissy but he died to the red smoke.

I honestly find the weeping angel style of chasing creepy. the moment you take your eyes off of them you can get killed. reminds me of BLINK so much. creepiest doctor who episode ever. also love how Preston was terrified when Miss Delight phased through the shut door.
