Alternate timelines are a thing in One Piece.

Just bring Ace from an alternate timeline where the same thing happened up until he ran into Akainu. The conversation and mockery went as normal.

But the difference... Luffy was the one who was killed instead of Ace.

So if they were to meet, Luffy would be crying remembering that Ace died in front of him and Ace would be crying remebering that Luffy died in front of him.

That... Would be tears the likes of which I haven't had since I watched Ace die.

Ace is still alive why we never got the back story of what Shanks and ace was plotting on in the cave plus ace could’ve used a flame clone somehow and don’t forget he has one of the special devil fruit extraction knife’s like Blackbeard and Roger never had no devil fruit just haki so I guess shanks wanted him to start fresh and really make a mark and fake his death to help luffy character development 💯 plus it’s gonna be so time before we see him like how we all thought sabo died

I saw the rumor that someone thought Kuina would be brought back because of the mysterious woman with Shank's twin on Elbaph. The woman is shown minimally, BUT she does NOT have black hair like Kuina would have had. She has WHITE hair, her face is wrapped in bandages, and she's on Elbaph.... It seems obvious to me. My guess if Oda is bringing someone back from supposedly being dead it is Nico Olvia! White hair, wrapped in bandages as if in a fire, and they didn't show her die, but rather run to help the others save the books. Saul escaped, so easily could have saved, and brought Olvia with him!!! The connections are all there with the exception of why she'd be with Shank's evil twin, BUT the rest fits perfectly and that woukd not interfear with Zoro's storyline. It would however be good for Nico Robin's story, to finally have her mother in her life and no longer being the soul survivor of her Island. So ya, my guess for the mysterious woman on elbaph is Nico Olvia. Excited to see if I'm right, because Kuina coming back makes zero sense and would undermine Not onky Zoro's story, but Tashigi's whole meaning in the story as well.

In anime episode 318 ace died and the tittle was [Portgas D Ace died]. Doesn't it sound to formal?? Now Imagine what is he didn't die and we see him in the final battle and this time he would return as [Gold D Ace] instead of Portgas D Ace!!!

Someone evil brings him back under his control, but Ace still has his memories, but Ace will not be in control of his movements. The other way he comes back is as a ghost. He will be able to communicate with people, but he won't be able to harm others, and his enemies can't harm him since he is a ghost. If Star Wars can have force ghosts anything is possible.

I have a theory that the demons (in charge of the navy) could possess a fixed aces body mabey they have a similar fruit to the revive fruit but works different to brooks in some way or mabey through just possession and he still has his flame power as fruits are believed to effect the DNA Of the recipients

You know, I thought of a real OP fruit back then, but idk if it would do any good. But here I go:



I didn't think of a name for this, so let's just leave it without a name. Now, this fruit's user is a really, really old man, that has never been seen before. His DF has the ability to bring people back to life. In it's unawakened state, it can bring anybody back from the past 2 years. But, they become zombie like beings, as they still have conscious, but they still have their disease and or wound that killed then. But, it doesn't really affect them that much. But, when fully awakened, they are brought back to their prime, have everything fixed, and best part, is that if they had a DF, the current or new user would loose it. And the user of the fruit can completely control them whenever, like a active robot.

Here’s a story on how I think ace could come back but it would probably never cause oda doesn’t know I exist and this logic is weird so ya

In elbaf Luffy finds a brawl happening and he asks Usopp to ask the giants what are they fighting for they replied “yomi yomi no mi” and Luffy steals the fruit and after elbaf he goes to where ace and Whitebeard are buried he digs aces grave and tries to feed him the fruit like how you would feed a doll or something and then ace comes back and they go to laugh take together.

It makes no sense for Ace to come back even though we like him. He was clearly dead and buried, his devil fruit now in Sabo. Alternate universe stuff in One piece would just ruin One Piece, as Oda is still not finished with it as a whole and has so many storylines to complete! I feel like with Oda's health he really should finish the Straw hats stories and the claiming of the One Piece. There's just very little room left to go astray down other complicated paths. He's hinted at Zoro's past being related to the Samurai who slayed the dragon, who sword he won on Thriller Bark, as well as the Blue Haired Samurai who helped to free Kaidos daughter Yamato from the cave! Then he has to fight MiHawk. He nweds to cover Sanji's story to find the ALL BLUE, then finish Robin's with the lost Century, etc.. Nami is rarely shown, if ever, doing the work to make her map of rhe world, Brook still needs to reunite with Laboon, Usopp is at least becoming a brave warrier of the sea with each adventure, and Chopper's story coukd go on forever with curing diseases... Then there's Sabos story after finding out about the D lineage, and Luffy's story to get to the One Piece and possibly who his mother is, though it's clear now she's not needed because the D lineage comes through Alabasta and Cobra's ancestry!!! So ALL the D's history traces back to Lilith and Alabaster! Which means theyre ALL related! Also the mystory of Nika needs revealed!!! Luffy ate the Gum Gum fruit Shanks stole early on and so theres way more to complete before Oda's health gets worse, because I think we'd ALL be upset if One Piece was left unfinished because of Odas decline in health...
