finished watching this today in my highschool history class. I’ve always heard of it but I’ve never ever watched it until I did in my history teacher’s class, such a great fucking movie. I’m glad I finally saw it and that he showed it to me. So beautiful and magnificent. It’s now one of my most favorite movies of all time, that’s for sure.

It’s been my favorite movie since release.
The music, cinematography, the story and of course the acting is all as good as it gets. The following quote gives me chills every time I watch it.

I remember seeing the posters for GLADIATOR lining the New York subways during a family vacation around Easter weekend back in 2000 when I was 14 going on 15 - I didn't even know that this would end up being a revival of the ancient historical epic.
