Death's Gambit - What You Get For Killing Bast & Sigur NPCs

you have to kill Bast(ard?). if you don't, he will start stealth killing all your npcs pver time, making wiseass comments about it. what's weird is how he makes veiled threats if you hit him, but then he doesn't even fight back. in fact, nobody fights back, except vrael.

killing the other npcs seems to have no effect on the ending, other than them not being present in one of the screenshots.
killing ione and vrael makes you miss out on some cut scenes, but then again, in a speedrun, this might be to your benefit.

sometimes, npcs you killed inexplicably respawn as if you didn't kill them. with the rewards you get, there seems to be no reason not to kill them.
just make you you buy everything you want first.

besides obtaining item rewards, may i know is there any consequences when killing NPCs? such as getting different endings/paths/etc..

I killed both and now I don't know where to buy new spells. I've player for a while and I haven't found any new merchant. Should I start a new game or is there any other spell seller?

Started playing this at 12 and it's metrovania/dark souls lol not bad so far
