Where I’m from a lot of kids eat from trays even in their later teens. The food is organized and doesn’t mix like in a plate or bowl. We can leave that little place for sauce too. It’s a little less dishes to clean for our parents or whoever is washing them. Also, that material doesn’t break if a kid drops it. That is to say, I don’t understand what people find bad about it 😅
