Small businesses urge you to shop local

Big box stores and online shopping may entice you to give them all of your dollars this holiday season, but local businesses say they can offer shoppers a different kind of experience. Kristy Kilburn goes to Inglewood to find out.

A lot of good posts here. I think the two fundamental errors that many entrepreneurs fall into is one, they think they can be someone other than themselves and two, the superstition that others will do things the way they would.

I want to do that but I look at products they are so overpriced.
Also online has more variety.
For the most part local shopping will only happen to me for produce and meat products.
Fresh foods. But the rest. I shop only online due to high gas prices, time consuming, traffic.
It doesn't hurt that there is also free shipping and their customer service is great and easy returns for free and exchanges. It is so convenient. It is easy. So why do I want to go out to do the same I can do online.

Also I am at home far from the virus.
If I can get it online, I do it online.

But we all want to do what's best for us.
