The ongoing dockworker strike is adding strain to supply chains, which could potentially increase the cost of goods, especially imported items, driving up inflation.

We wouldn't have this problem if we grew our own food and produced our own products HERE IN AMERICA. We shouldn't be importing everything. Bring back our factorys, mines, and farms here to the states and scroo imports.

Huge power trip by an unhinged union boss. They just walked away from an offer of a 50% wage increase, with guarantees against automation increases... This while screaming that money & automation is why they're striking lol. That puts the average doc worker who works about as hard as the average McDonald's employee, at about 125K/year, & they said "we want more."
& get ready for some serious shiz if they get it. Every Union in the country will be overwhelmed with greed & jealousy about the new doc worker contracts & will be on strike by the end of 2025.

We have all been hit by inflation Mr. Trump, not just dockworkers. 😢

Didn't Trump say workers who strike should be fired?

They demand more pay, they get more pay and everyone else has to pay more for the products and services. It leads to more price increases. We're all paying too much for the basics.

This never would have happened on Trump's watch. He's a master negotiator.

No union should have that much destructive power. What about rotating port strikes and where are the essential workers. Those port workers, their family and friends will also be impacted by the fallout of a total shutdown and at the end of the day won’t be ahead of the game.

But how is causing more inflation helping them?

“Machines don’t feed families”
What a stupid sign. Every single one of these workers’ jobs is made SIGNIFICANTLY easier by machines.

Ok mr. dock worker. Lift that 40 ton shipping crate with your bare hands and put it over there with the rest of them.

Our ports should be 75% American owned companies. This should’ve never been allowed to happen all of these foreign countries on our ports and it needs to come to end.
